Outreach Overview
The City of Fresno is completing the final design for its first, dedicated citywide Senior Activity Center. We are now moving into the third phase where we are sharing the final design with community members.
We would like to thank the community for participating in our outreach process during 2023. The final design was developed with maximum collaboration from the community to deliver an innovative, technologically advanced facility designed with unique-to-Fresno features for Fresno’s diverse senior populations.
Located at Blackstone and Holland Avenue, the Senior Activity Center will include approximately 30,000 square feet to support programs and services. An affordable housing development will also be located near the Senior Activity Center, which will provide housing for seniors who are income qualified. Development is slated to begin soon.
The community is invited to provide their thoughts on the final design during two open house events in February.

Initial Senior Activity Center Outreach Feedback
The City of Fresno conducted two phases of outreach between July and December 2023. During the first phase, the citywide effort collected community feedback on the proposed site features, programming and amenities desired for the new Senior Activity Center. During the second phase, the City of Fresno collected feedback on the conceptional schematics and rendering design.
